ScreenCam is a video capture program that records the activity on your screen, adding editing options that can really come in handy when you're preparing video tutorials, demonstrations, or lessons.
The programs records what's happening on a pre-defined area of your screen as a succession of frames, and includes keyboard shortcuts that make controlling the recording process even more convenient.
Once you've stopped recording, you can edit the speed of the succession of images, crop unnecessary frames, add text, buttons, etc... and even modify the path your cursor takes.
When your video is ready, you can export it to AVI or Flash, or save the images as GIF files.
